The Fund For Educational Excellence (FFEE), an education advocacy non-profit, performed an extensive study to unearth the educational priorities of Baltimore City families. Their #cityspeaks initiative involved conversations with stakeholders throughout the city (parents, citizens, leaders and more) to get a perspective of how the Baltimore City Public School system is meeting students’ needs—and what it could be doing better. They asked idfive to design a compelling online and print report to publish their results and recommendations in a way that was accessible to all audiences.
idfive developed an integrated marketing campaign to bring greater awareness to the study. The campaign included a fully responsive website that outlined the key findings and lead people to the full report and a one-page infographic poster. Using storytelling and data visualization techniques, idfive worked with FFEE to capture the voices of Baltimore City parents and students. The project received tremendous coverage from the media and continues to help influence the Baltimore City education agenda.
