The University of Mary offers online and adult education programs that are affordable, flexible and well regarded by current students and alumni. However, hosted on a website targeting undergraduates, these offerings were overshadowed by additional web content and not easily located by prospective adult learners. To better serve this fast-growing student population, the University of Mary team wanted to establish a larger, distinct presence for its online programs and generate leads on a new website that embodied the school’s promise and faith.
The University of Mary Online website celebrates the history, values, and outcomes of its adult education programs. An extensive discovery process formed the basis for a robust information architecture, emotional design and compelling, action-driving copy. Visitors can view and compare programs; gain a better understanding of costs and upcoming start dates; and read about alumni achievements. online.umary.edu has its own home. It’s a place that guides prospective students to the resources they need and aligns with the University of Mary’s vision.
