idfive Hosts Nonprofit Make-A-Thon in Baltimore City
This year, idfive had the pleasure of hosting Make a Mark, Baltimore, the event that partners designers, developers, writers, and other creative professionals with local nonprofits to produce branded marketing material.
Throughout the 12-hour event, creative professionals developed everything from business cards and social media graphics to email templates and comprehensive marketing strategies for nine different nonprofits, including:
Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group, Bikemore, Black Girls Unscripted, Hosts for Humanity, PIVOT, Positive Strides, Touching Young Lives, United Ministries, and Women’s Law Center of Maryland
As the host, idfive held the event in its Baltimore office located on the Maryland Institute College of Art campus. Five different ‘fivers’ were also selected to participate, including idfive’s Art Director, Design Director, Senior Designer, Senior Account Executive, and Associate Vice President of Creative Strategy.
In the end, the nine nonprofits left the event with a marketing strategy and the materials to execute them. As an agency that primarily serves mission-based organizations, idfive was honored to help facilitate the incredible event and empower those solving Baltimore’s greatest challenges.
Inspired by the event, idfive even chose to support Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group through its charity vending machine, which they use to raise funds for local nonprofits.
