idfive Takes Home Eight American Advertising Awards for Mission-Based Clients

BALTIMORE (March 9th, 2018) idfive won eight awards at last night’s Baltimore American Advertising Awards for outstanding creative work, including honors for consumer websites, event installation and a national advertising campaign.

As a mission-based marketing agency, idfive won awards for clients in education, advocacy, and not-for-profit, including the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Port Discovery Children’s Museum, The University of Baltimore, and the Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments.

“The best part about winning these awards is the opportunity to showcase our amazing clients,” said idfive’s co-founder Andres Zapata. “The type of organizations we work with aren’t normally represented in these competitions. It’s very rewarding to prove that inspiring and impactful creative work can be done for mission-based clients.”

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition put on by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Annually, the Baltimore chapter of the AAF receives more than 300 submissions from advertising and marketing firms in the Baltimore region. idfive’s Gold winning work, which includes the Top of the World website redesign will automatically move on to the national round to compete with work from the top agencies in the country.

“I’m extremely proud of the work our creative team did this year. We have a hungry group with a chip on its shoulder and a mission to prove themselves,” said idfive’s Creative Director Matt McDermott. “Winning in a range of categories shows that we can do transformative work for anyone.”

Of the eight awards that the agency won two were Gold and six were Silver. Silver Awards include the Port Discovery Children’s Museum consumer website and interface/navigation, University of Baltimore Gamescape single installation and single event, Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments printed annual report, and a national advertising campaign for The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
