In 2014, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health worked with idfive to create Yearlook, an interactive annual report. The site earned awards from the American Advertising Federation, Communication Arts, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. It also set the bar incredibly high for the new 2015 annual report website. Luckily, there was much to celebrate and inspire: U.S. News and World Report again ranked JHSPH the #1 school for public health and the school was only months away from celebrating its 100th anniversary. On top of that, the school had another amazing year of groundbreaking research and achievements to showcase. We were asked to top our 2014 Yearlook design in three key areas: overall esthetics, usability and user experience. And that’s exactly what we did.
